Making the park more accessible with paths and seating, restoring historic and unique features such as the steam engine, or keeping the gardens looking beautiful for years to come. You can choose which projects you’d like to contribute to or simply donate to the park and we’ll allocate your contribution across multiple projects for you. It only takes 2 minutes!

Our projects

Over the years the park has been neglected. Our mission is to bring it back to its former glory, making it more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. More support means we can tackle more projects at once and make that process quicker.

Water Mill Restoration

We’re working hard to restore the original water mill, which we’ll use to provide electricity for the buildings on site. A significant project but one you can get involved in by making a donation today.

Once used to store ice in its naturally cold environment, we’re restoring this historic and unique feature so that visitors can explore the cave themselves. A fun project to donate to.

Ongoing opportunities

Making the gardens accessible to everyone is a top priority for us here. Help us by donating towards a park bench or picnic table so that people can soak up the views throughout the grounds.

We have one of the oldest steam engines in the UK to have remained on site! It’s a thing of beauty and if you’d like to play a part in keeping it in pristine condition then you can donate to this ongoing project.

FAQs about donating

Your contribution will only be spent on the project that you’ve chosen to support. It will be used for things such as tools, materials, printing of new information boards etc. If you donate to the park in general then we’ll split your donation across multiple projects.

As all donations are used towards the restoration work we cannot offer a refund at a later date.

When you make a donation you’ll be signed up to an email newsletter. This ensures that we can keep you up to date with project news & developments. We’ll also invite you to the park to see the project once it’s complete.

The minimum donation is £5 but there is no maximum. You can also make a donation as often as you like thanks to our quick and easy only process.
