Everything you need

Once you’re in the park you’ll find toilet & baby changing facilities, a café with indoor and outdoor seating, a playground for little ones and access to boutique shops. As you explore the gardens you’ll also come across plenty of picnic benches and grass areas for a picnic. Be sure to stop at the outdoor amphitheatre for a photo or impromptu performance!

The Black Cat Cafe

Independently run, the Black Cat Cafe is open all year round with indoor and outdoor seating. Located close to the entrance, shops and playground it’s the perfect spot for a pause and refreshing drink.

Serving hot and cold food, afternoon tea and snacks, the cafe has something for everyone. They have wheelchair access and highchairs for little ones too.

Adra shop

Run by Angharad Gwyn and open since 2007, Adra sells Welsh gifts, furnishing and accessories.

All their products are carefully sourced from Wales, designed by Welsh designers or feature the Welsh language – and they only sell products that they’ve fallen in love with themselves! They’re made by artists, craftspeople and small, independent producers from across Wales to a high standard as Adra believe it’s important to support small, local suppliers. Many of their products are created here at Adra so that you can enjoy ranges exclusive to them.

Situated right at the entrance to the park, it’s the perfect place to champion Welsh talent while giving you the chance to take something special home. Be sure to pop in and say hi!

Forgotten to buy your ticket? Don’t worry, you can always pick one up in the shop when you arrive.

Parking

Newly resurfaced, we have plenty of parking right by the park entrance. The parking fee is currently included in your ticket price, making it even easier to arrive, park up and get exploring.

To access the parking area, drive through the main entrance and turn left. We don’t currently have electric charging stations although it is something we’re working on.

Picnic areas

Glynllifon and its extensive woodlands, grass lawns and paths are the perfect place for a picnic. As you explore the park you’ll find benches at regular intervals as well as some clearings with multiple picnic benches.

Choose whether you want to sit alongside a stream, under the redwoods or overlooking the outdoor amphitheatre. Please take any rubbish away with you.

Playground

Located close to the entrance and opposite the cafe is our playground. Set in a stunning natural landscape with views over the historic buildings, it’s a great spot to let the kids run wild and catch your breath.

Craft units

Located at the heart of the park are a number of craft units available for local businesses to occupy. We’ve got tenants making and offering a range of products, perfect for a spot of souvenir or gift shopping for someone special.

Stunning natural gardens

We’re proud that here at Parc Glynllifon, the trees and plants are helped to flourish without being manicured. It’s a natural environment and an oasis where you enjoy things in their natural glory. From giant redwoods to exotic ferns, there’s planty to see.

The park and facilities are all accessible, and we’ve recently resurfaced a number of paths to make more of the park accessible too. If you’ve got any questions just get in touch or speak to a warden when you arrive.

The cafe is generally open year round, aligning with our own opening times. However, if you have any questions or want to check then you can call them on 01286 832691.

The toilets can be found near the main entrance and alongside the cafe.

We do run events throughout the year, from steam engine demonstrations to Christmas fairs. Visit our events page or follow us on social media to find out more.
