The community
Discover the people and businesses that make up the Glynllifon community.
Glynllifon’s role in the community
Parc Glynllifon has long held a role in the local community. Comprising the college, the manor house and the park itself, we pride ourselves on providing value and opportunities for the local community to thrive.
Ways we engage with the community
Our community also includes those not necessarily in the park day to day. It’s important to us that as many people as possible enjoy the park and what’s on offer here, as well as giving back to them.
Budding photographers and film production companies alike can make the most of the stunning scenery and historic buildings, either as a casual day visitor or by booking filming permits.
Local residents and holidaymakers can benefit from both the craft shops on-site and the events we host, such as the annual Christmas fair.
Businesses can book meeting rooms, or use the park for team days out. A special place to step away from desks and reconnect with nature and one another.
Local businesses can also become tenants and make the most of our beautiful stone offices and studios. Both a peaceful setting to work on their craft and a great place to meet potential clients as people wander through the park.
Llwybrau lleisant
A project run by Gwynedd Council’s learning disability service to develop the potential of adults with learning disabilities by following different well-being pathways. We’re proud to have a hub here at the park, where individuals with learning disabilities can access day opportunities, participate in social groups and events and learn new skills in a way that is open to the wider community.
The team at the Melin Glanrafon Hub enjoy a wide range of practical activities, including woodwork in the workshop, arts and crafts, handywork, gardening and much more. You’ll spot their work around the park such as the park benches.
Craft units
We have a number of craft units where tenant businesses can focus on their work in an inspiring location. They’re also open to the public and provide a great opportunity to pick up a memento or gift for someone special.
